Mosquito Control Tire Drive Held Sept 13

Midland County Mosquito Control and Midland Recyclers conducted a tire drive on 13 September 2014.  Over 1,200 tires were collected from over 70 county residents.  Tire drives have been occurring twice a year for several years and help to reduce the number of mosquito breeding sites in the county.  The program also helps residents to discard of unwanted tires and avoid the disposal fee usually charged.  The next event will occur Spring 2015.  Thanks to the volunteers and Midland Recyclers for their assistance and partnership!
