At 12:55 PM on August 1, 2018, Midland County Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to a home invasion in progress in the 2000 block of South Magrudder Road in Jasper Township. The resident, a 49 year old woman, called 911 after an unknown man had kicked in the side door to her residence that leads into her garage. The man then fled the scene in a green sedan.

A short time later, responding Deputies located the green sedan in the area that matched the description and made a traffic stop. The driver was a 46 year old Saginaw man.

The initial investigation has shown that the subject was involved in at least three recent home invasion complaints in Midland County (1000 block and 2000 block of West Bradford) as well as a breaking and entering in Thomas Township. The suspect had stolen money, jewelry and electronics in the Midland County incidents.

Deputies recovered stolen property and are in the process of returning it to the owners.

The suspect was arrested and transported to the Midland County Jail.

The Midland County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Thomas Township Police Department during the investigation.

Anyone with information is requested to contact the Midland County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau at 989-839-4621.
