Midland 100 Club Donates $20,000

NEWS RELEASE - 01/22/2018

On January 16, 2018 the Midland County Sheriff's Office Community Awareness Team was chosen to receive $20,000 from the Midland 100 Club. The Midland 100 Club is a group of approximately 400 women who meet three times per year to allocate funds to non-profit organizations that are striving to make a difference in the community of Midland.

These funds will be used to continue with programs and events that educate and benefit our community. One of the main programs is; S.K.I.D. (Stop Kids Impaired Driving). S.K.I.D. is a recreation of a drunk and or impaired fatal accident that is shown at area high schools to help educate students on the hazards of distracted driving.

The Midland County Sheriff's Office Community Awareness Team would like to thank the Midland 100 Club for their generous donation and their continued support to our community.
