Under the supervision of the Probate and Family Court Administrative Supervisor and Judicial Assistant, utilizes and maintains electronic recording equipment to record the hearings of a Judge or Referee. Prepares logs of court proceedings while recording all court activity. Prepares and files official verbatim transcripts of requested court proceedings. Serves as courtroom clerk. Opens new case files, performs data entry, and assists in maintaining court records. Provides register services to attorneys, litigants, law enforcement and court personnel and other parties. Performs a variety of administrative functions.
Associate’s Degree and two years of progressively more responsible experience in case processing or administrative support in a court or legal setting. Michigan Court Reporting Certification from the Michigan Supreme Court. Knowledge of basic court proceedings and the State of Michigan Court system, court procedures, practices and statutes, analyzing and researching statues and case law, preparing and interpreting legal documents, and maintaining files. Ability to maintain office confidentiality. Skill in proofreading, reviewing forms, documents, preparing transcripts, and reports. Skill in assembling and analyzing data and preparing comprehensive and accurate reports. Skill in effectively communicating ideas and concepts orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to maintain professional integrity and respect for victims, witnesses, and families, including the ability to effectively meet and deal with the public. Ability to establish effective working relationships and use good judgment, initiative and resourcefulness when dealing with County employees, contractors to the County, representatives of other governmental units, professional contacts, elected officials, and the public.
Current salary range starting at $17.80/hr progressing to $23.13hr (7 year progression) with a competitive fringe benefit package.

On Call Nursing Supervisor
Under the supervision of the Pinecrest Administrator, organizes and directs the nursing and health care services on a scheduled shift. Administers medications and treatments as required and maintains appropriate records. Supervises and directs other facility staff on an assigned shift and assists them as necessary in carrying out their job functions. Greets and assists visitors to the facility and answers incoming telephone calls. Oversees the residents and assists and encourage them in their daily activities, interactions and problem resolutions.
Licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan. Two years of nursing experience, preferably in a geriatric rehabilitation setting in long-term care, home health, residential housing or a similar setting which provided care to gerontology and/or mentally and physically disabled clients. Able to become certified in CPR and First Aid.
Salary $21.52/hr. Position will remain open until filled.

Midland County Adult Residential Care Facility seeking individuals to work casual, on-call hours, with the potential of working into a part-time position. Must be available to work all shifts with a special needs population. Valid driver's license and high school diploma required. Experience in housekeeping and personal care a plus. Salary $14.00/hour.
