Campgrounds

Midland County offers camping opportunities throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. Midland camping offers something for everyone - camp along rivers, lakes, and beaches, near the rivers, in state parks and private owned campgrounds. Enjoy Michigan camping in tents, RVs, cabins, or sleeping under the stars.

Campgrounds are licensed by the State of Michigan and inspected locally by the Midland County Environmental Health Division.

The water supply, sewage disposal, waste handling, general safety and cleanliness are part of the inspection process.

Temporary Campground permit application - visit Midland County Health Dept., Environmental Health, for application or call DEQ at 517 284-6520.
