Judge Michael Carpenter was appointed to the 75th District Court bench in January 2014 replacing the retired Judge John Hart.
Mike was previously the Midland County Prosecuting Attorney from 2005 until his appointment. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School and lives in Midland with his wife Terra and their 3 daughters.
